Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Receiving & Unloading

Unload incoming shipments of power and energy equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and cables.
Verify quantities and conditions of received goods.
Inspect products for damages.
Create accurate receiving documents.

Storing & Organizing

Organize and arrange inventory in designated storage areas.
Use warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move and store heavy equipment.
Label and tag products for easy identification.
Rotate stock to ensure optimal storage conditions.

Picking & Packing

Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring correct quantities and items.
Prepare shipping labels and documents.
Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other delivery vehicles.
Ensure timely and efficient shipment processing.

Inventory Management

Conduct regular inventory counts.
Identify and report discrepancies.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Maintain accurate inventory records.

Warehouse Maintenance

Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Maintain warehouse equipment and report any issues.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
Physical fitness to lift heavy objects.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math and computer skills.
Valid driver’s license (if required for delivery duties).

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Experience with inventory management systems.
Forklift certification.
OSHA 10 or 30-Hour certification.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
