Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

Supervise shift personnel.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Maintenance & Operational Efficiency

Coordinate maintenance activities.
Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the shift.

Compliance

Ensure that the plant complies with all applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Communication

Communicate with other shift supervisors and department heads to address plant issues and optimize operations.

Documentation & Reporting

Document shift activities and report on key performance indicators.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Technical or vocational training in a related field, such as mechanical or industrial engineering.
Several years of experience in industrial plant operations and maintenance.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of plant equipment and systems.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
