Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Schedule Management

Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

Process and incorporate project changes, scope revisions, and delays into the schedule and budget.
Assess the impact of changes on the overall project timeline and cost.

Reporting & Cost Control

Generate regular progress reports.
Monitor project costs, track actual expenditures against the budget, and forecast future costs.
Prepare and analyze cost reports, and identify variances and trends.
Present findings to the project team and stakeholders.

Risk Management

Identify potential scheduling and cost risks.
Develop and analyze “what-if” scenarios to assess the impact of potential delays or changes.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate progress, and ensure alignment.
Communicate project status to all stakeholders.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in a project controls or scheduling role, preferably within the power, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.
Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop accurate forecasts.
Knowledge of project management principles, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Critical Path Method (CPM).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Expert-level knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project or similar tools is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
