Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain project schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS), critical path analysis (CPA), and resource allocation plans.

Budgeting & Cost Control

Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasting, and variance analysis..

Project Monitoring & Risk Management

Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
Develop and implement contingency plans to address project challenges.

Performance Reporting & Communication

Track and report project performance metrics, including schedule adherence, budget performance, and quality metrics.
Prepare and submit project reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate with project teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project objectives are met.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls engineering.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2).
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Experience with earned value management (EVM) techniques.
Knowledge of risk management methodologies.
Experience with change management processes.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
