Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

Develop and implement plant strategies and goals.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage plant budgets and resources.

Operational Management & Oversight

Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
Monitor and improve plant performance metrics, such as productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Human Resources & Compliance

Manage plant personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality standards.

Interdepartmental Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, sales, and finance.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Experience in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Six Sigma.
Experience in a specific industry, such as power and energy or heavy industrial.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
