Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Engineering & Project Management

Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures.
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Manage capital projects and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.

Technical Operations & Maintenance Support

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize plant performance.
Provide technical support to plant personnel.

Compliance & Sustainability

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Develop and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in plant engineering or maintenance.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
Knowledge of plant equipment, systems, and processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD and CAD software.

Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience with specific industry standards, such as ASME, API, and NEC.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
