Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Analytical Testing & Analysis

Conduct chemical and physical tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and final products.
Analyze samples using various analytical techniques, such as titration, spectroscopy, and chromatography.
Interpret and report laboratory results.
Develop and validate new analytical methods.

Laboratory Operations & Maintenance

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrument problems.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Training & Mentorship

Train and mentor laboratory technicians.

Safety

Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of chemistry principles and analytical techniques.
Proficiency in laboratory equipment and instruments.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to follow written procedures and protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Experience with specific analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC, or ICP-MS.
Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance principles.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
