Job Overview

An owner’s rep (solar) serves as the primary on-site representative for the project owner, guiding utility-scale or large commercial/industrial solar photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from inception through commissioning and handover. This role ensures that all project activities are executed according to the owner’s specifications, contractual agreements, and the highest standards of quality and safety.

As an owner’s rep (solar) working with APS Solutions, you will serve as the owner’s dedicated advocate and on-site expert, ensuring their solar projects are executed as planned. Specifically, you will travel to project sites to monitor and verify that contract terms, engineering specifications, and the owner’s quality and safety standards are adhered to. You will proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, track the project’s schedule and budget, and act as the central communication nexus, providing the owner with clear, concise, and timely reports so they are able to maintain full control over the project’s successful, on-time, and on-budget completion.
