Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Control

Monitor and maintain aero turbine equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Repair and Maintenance

Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of turbine components.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or performance issues.
Maintain detailed records and logs of equipment performance and maintenance activities.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
Proven experience operating and maintaining aeroderivative turbine technology.
Experience working with FT8 and LM2500 turbine models.
Background in power generation operations, particularly in a microgrid or distributed energy setting, is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
