Job Overview

A mechanical field engineer is responsible for providing expert technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for mechanical equipment within power generation facilities or energy infrastructure. This role requires deep knowledge of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of critical plant assets.

As a mechanical field engineer working for APS Solutions, you will travel to various industrial sites to oversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of critical mechanical equipment. You will act as the primary technical expert on-site, ensuring that mechanical systems—such as turbines, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, and associated piping—are operating safely and reliably. Your responsibilities will include testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical failures in real-time, and coordinating closely with construction, operations, and client teams. Ultimately, you will provide the essential field support to minimize system downtime and optimize the performance of power generation and heavy industrial facilities.
