Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, and wiring.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including power outages and equipment failures.
Install, modify, and maintain electrical wiring and components.

Technical Interpretation & Testing

Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Test and calibrate electrical equipment.

Documentation & Reporting

Document maintenance activities and generate work orders.

Safety

Adhere to electrical safety codes and standards.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Journeyman Electrician license.
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, motor control, and power distribution.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency calls.

Experience with PLC and DCS systems.
Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
Experience with electrical safety standards, such as NFPA 70E.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
