Job Overview

A lead mechanical startup/commissioning engineer is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and successful completion of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities for mechanical systems within power and energy facilities. This role ensures all mechanical equipment and systems are ready for safe and reliable operation. 

As a lead mechanical startup/commissioning engineer for APS Solutions, you will lead and manage the successful transition of power and energy projects from construction to operation. You will oversee the startup process, execute testing and verification, and act as the primary technical expert to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems (e.g., turbines, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, piping, HVAC, water treatment, etc.). As a technical leader, you will supervise a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring adherence to schedules, budget, safety, and quality standards.
