Job Overview

An instrument fitter is responsible for the precise installation, routing, connection, and fitting of various mechanical components essential to instrumentation and control systems. The primary focus is on tubing, piping, conduit, and support systems that facilitate the reliable operation of monitoring and control devices. 

As an instrument fitter for APS Solutions, you will maintain the physical infrastructure of our instrumentation and control systems. You will join a team that works on the mechanical components supporting our sensors and monitoring devices. In this role, you will be responsible for various types of small-bore tubing and conduit runs for pneumatic and electrical signal lines throughout the plant. To ensure integrity and prevent leaks, you will test installed lines, guaranteeing that the instrumentation systems operate reliably and safely for power generation.
