Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance & Calibration

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of instrumentation, control, and electrical equipment.
Calibrate and test instrumentation devices to ensure accurate and reliable performance.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs, DCS, and other control systems.
Interpret technical schematics, drawings, and manuals to guide your work.

Collaboration

Collaborate with the operations and maintenance teams to optimize system performance.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an IC&E Technician or in a similar role within a power plant or industrial setting.
Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems.
Strong working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other control system technologies.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
