A groundman provides essential support to linemen in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems. They manage the staging area, preparing hardware like insulators and crossarms, operating heavy machinery such as digger derricks or trenchers, and ensuring that tools are sent up the pole via handlines exactly when needed. 

As a groundman for APS Solutions, you will serve as the foundation of the field crew, ensuring that every project involving the power grid is executed with precision and safety. By mastering the art of the handline and anticipating the needs of the crew above you, you will play a critical role in maintaining energy reliability while developing the technical expertise necessary to advance within the utility industry.
