Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Control

Monitor and maintain the operation of auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, and compressors, within the coal or boiler plant

Repair & Maintenance

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on pipeline systems to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

Collaboration

Coordinate with the broader operations team to ensure the seamless integration of pipeline-related activities.

Safety

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Adhere to environmental regulations.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in auxiliary or outside operations within a coal or boiler plant environment.
Strong understanding of pipeline systems and their maintenance requirements.
Proficiency in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
Valid certification in relevant areas, such as OSHA safety training or boiler operation.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including the potential for shift work.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
