Job Overview

A BOP millwright is a skilled tradesperson responsible for the mechanical equipment in the Balance of Plant (BOP) within a power generation facility. The BOP refers to all the supporting components and systems of the power plant that are not directly related to the core energy conversion process, such as pumps, conveyors, material handling systems, air compressors, and cooling systems. 

As a BOP millwright for APS Solutions, you will ensure the operational reliability and mechanical integrity of equipment across various energy facilities. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical BOP machinery. Your daily work will involve performing alignments, executing routine preventive maintenance tasks, and diagnosing and resolving mechanical failures. Your main focus will be to maximize equipment reliability and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
