Responsibilities & Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

Develop and implement comprehensive startup and commissioning plans.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Coordinate the activities of various teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure a seamless transition to full operations.
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the startup and commissioning process.
Mentor and train team members to build their skills and expertise.

Stakeholder Communication

Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project stakeholders.

Safety

Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a startup/commissioning manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of machinery, equipment, and systems.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Project Management Professional, Professional Engineer) are a plus.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.

Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints.

Strong organizational skills.

Valid jurisdictional driver license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, requiring physical activity, including climbing ladders, working at elevations, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds.

Ability to work in areas that may be noisy, cold, hot, dirty, and able to wear personal protective equipment.
Ability to meet appropriate physical requirements as determined by corporate Health & Safety Department as prerequisites to perform certain tasks or training activities, for example, pulmonary function testing for respiratory protection, if required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
